본명칭은 학봉선생고택인데, 원래 현재자리에 위치했던 집이 물에 잠겨 위쪽으로 옮겼다가 현위치로 다시 옮긴 까닭임, 유홍준교수가 말한 굴비 두마리는 볼 수 없었다.
