About Gastro Tour Seoul
Established in 2014, Gastro Tour Seoul started to get the attention of the industry after receiving the excellence award in the 2017 Seoul Tourism Start-Up Competition. It was also selected as a marine tourism venture company in the same year. By participating in the tour development and pilot operation of tasting walking food tour in Jecheon city in 2019 and gourmet tasting tour program at multicultural food street Wongokdong, Ansan in 2020.
Gastro Tour Seoul provides a quality culinary experience to food connoisseurs through high-quality gastronomic tour planning, operation, education, and consulting. We also help cities and provinces around Korea develop food themed tours that can be enjoyed by people from all over the world. Our mission is to become a driving force for promoting the gastronomic culture of Korea to the market.

 Participated in a gastro tour of An Dong food culture tour. The tour guide Veronica was very good in English and explained to us in particular detail. I still experience cooking Anton steamed chicken in Anton, and it is very meaningful to eat it by myself after cooking it. It is a very good experience trip. I didn’t know that Andong was a city with such a profound cultural heritage. Many clan families still retain their traditions. This kind of experiential travel is more meaningful than the tour of horses and flowers! I am very happy to be able to participate in this experiential tour! ^ ^

We learned alot about traditional Korean liquors and got to try some really great liquors. then we went to a traditional Korean restaurant to sample homemade makgeolli and a full Korean dinner. Really great food and a great night out!

With this tour you'll enjoy traditionnal Korean alcohol and food.
Food is really good in Korea but if you wander by yourself you may find mostly spicy food.
With this tour you'll have both sour, sweet, spicy, ... savours mixed with traditionnal alcohols which match the dishes.
Veronica also speaks very good English so you'll understand everything from Soju brewing by a traditional and reknowed Soju maker to maekgeolli making in a real cosy hanok restaurant.
A must do for both food and alcohol lovers.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tour experience guided by Veronica was most informative and an amazing part of our trip in South Korea. The tour started with lunch at a Michelin rated restaurant called Yongsusan, serving traditional Korean cuisine. The dishes were light and absolutely divine.
After lunch, we headed to Bukchon Hanok village. Veronica introduced us to a sweet Korean pancake with syrup embedded in the pancake. We walked around the village where she also explained to us important landmarks in the village.
We then strolled over to a tea shop called Tea Therapy cafe. A menu was provide to us and recommended the type of tea suited for the individual. I ended purchasing three boxes of the Detox tea. Great purchase!
The tour ended at a Buddhist eatery and museum like place. The site explained the type of meals consumed by the monks and the preparation of fermented food for a long winter and year ahead.
I highly recommend this tour to solo travelers and families as well. Veronica exudes professionalism and extremely patient with me and my son. She is most informative about Korean history and culinary arts, past and modern day.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Veronica is such a fun guide. I gained an appreciation for traditional Korean liquors as well as the home brewing culture in Korea. We sampled quite a few of some pretty serious liquors, so be prepared!
Our second stop was at a traditional Korean restaurant to sample homemade makgeolli and a full Korean dinner. The food was amazing and plentiful. Veronica was able translate everything into English for us.
Highly recommend the Brew tour.
