이맘때면 강릉중앙시장 남대천 쪽에서 사방을 둘러보다보면 흰 벚꽃으로 온통 하얀색으로 물든 동산이 보이는데 바로 남산이다.
강릉단오제 전수회관을 끼고 오르는 길목엔 그저 벚나무만 가득하다, 그러나 지금은 코로나19로 입장이 불가하다.
출입금지 가로막과 사방 출입로에 관리인이 출입금지를 안내한다. 평소 얼마나 많은 인파가 몰릴지 짐작케한다.
2021년 3월 27일부터 4월4일까지 출입금지기간이다. 코로나가 봄의 정취마져 앗아간다.
