Without a doubt, one of the best Japanese restaurants in Gangnam. Nabeyaki Udon is the strongest recommend.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Authentic Japanese foods in Gangnam where competitions are cut throat. Owner used to a diplomatic officer of Korean governments I am told. He certainly made a great transition as this place is highly regarded with good foods and service. Japanese sake, served cold, in the restaurant is high quality. Udong noodle soup is delicate and pleasing. Tempura, sushi, sashimi are all excellent.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Soooo great quality especially to noodle. Pricy but I recommend here to be one of the best Japanese noodle restaurant in Gangnam. Among them, cold noodle has soft and chewy texture, which is balaced with the sauce perfectly. Easy to find near Gangnam station.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their signature "zaru udon" is one of the best in Seoul. The sauce base and noodle density is exactly what I like. Although their sushi is a typical 3-star quality of mediocrity, crispy tempura and savory croquet are highly recommended along with the udon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I first came here when it opened in the beginning, and around five (not sure) years later, glad to see the place is still doing well. In a highly competitive area like Gangnam, this speaks for itself.
The restaurant was opened by a Korean diplomat who had been stationed in Japan, and he did a good job bringing over authentic flavors to suit Korean palate. All ingredients are high quality and flavored perfectly, all at a decent price. Will be a regular spot.
