Drip coffee has a very unique taste. Staff are so friendly The chair is uncomfortable, but it is a space with its own charm. Barbed wire view.. nice

공간&입지가 매우 독특. 플랫화이트 9oz(라떼) 주문했는데 맛은 광화문 지점이 더 좋았음. 직원분들이 매우매우 상냥함. 베이글은 매장 특성 상 데워주지 않고, 스프레드는 무화과, 블루베리, 호두 맛을 9천원짜리 8천원에 할인 판매 중. 플라스틱 작은 용기에 소분한 스프레드는 판매하고 있지 않았음 아쉬운 점은 주차비 2천원 지불해야 함. DMZ 관광 겸 간다면 ok
The space and location are very unique. I ordered a flat white 9oz (latte) and the taste was better at the Gwanghwamun branch. The staff are very very friendly. Bagels are not heated due to the nature of the store, and spreads are being sold at a discount of 8,000 won for 9,000 won, with fig, blueberry and walnut flavors. Spreads divided into small plastic containers were not sold. Unfortunately, you have to pay 2,000 won for parking. DMZ tour is ok

경기도 파주 임진각에 위치한 카페. 원래 광화문에 위치한 카페인데 임진각에 실향민들을 위한 식당으로 사용되던 건물을 매입해서 카페로 탈바꿈함. 전방뷰가 민통선을 가로 막는 철조망이 있어서 매우 독특한 뷰를 보여줌. 내부에 편하게 커피 먹을 자리는 없고, 서서 먹거나 벤치 같은 좌석에 앉아 먹어야 함. 에스프레소도 슬레이어 머신을 설치해 놓아 기대감이 가득했지만, 생각보다 커피맛이 별로. 굵은 뒷맛이 탄탄하게 벼텨주길 원했지만 값싼 원두의 커피맛처럼 뒷맛이 뚝 떨어짐. 원두가 별로인지 바리스타의 실력이 별로인지 모르겠지만 분위기와 머신 모두 아까움.
A cafe located in Imjingak, Paju, Gyeonggi-do. Originally a cafe located in Gwanghwamun, the building used as a restaurant for displaced people in Imjingak was purchased and transformed into a cafe. The front view shows a very unique view as there is a barbed wire that blocks the Civilian Control Line. There is no comfortable place to eat coffee inside, so you have to eat while standing or sitting on a seat such as a bench. The espresso had a slayer machine installed, so I was full of anticipation, but the coffee taste was not as good as I thought. I wanted the thick aftertaste to stay strong, but the aftertaste dropped like cheap coffee beans. I don't know if the beans are bad or the barista's skills aren't great, but both the atmosphere and the machine are a waste.

임진각 안에 위치한 정말 맛있는 커피집 입니다. 통유리 안으로 꽉차게 들어오는 햇살과 창밖 풍경이 예술인 포비! 플랫화이트 원두 향과 맛이 아주 일품입니다. 포비때문에 임진각 자주 갈것 같습니다. 베이글도 맛있어보여요~~~(코로나때문에 데워주지 않으셔서 먹지 않았는데 다음번에는 포장해와야겠어요)
This is a really delicious coffee shop located in Imjingak. The sunlight coming in through the glass and the scenery outside the window are art, Poby! The aroma and taste of the flat white beans are excellent. I think I will go to Imjingak often because of Poby. Bagels look delicious too~~~ (I didn't eat them because they didn't heat them because of Corona, but I'll have to pack them next time)

"Basic, Best, Bright, Brilliant" Four B has been changing the daily coffee routine of countless office workers in Seoul since they first began back in 2015 (using the Four B brand name since 2017). Located in spots that would usually be occupied by larger chain cafes like Starbucks, from skyscraper lobbies to apartment complexes, they now have 8 branches across the capital, Paju (DMZ) and Cheongju. Influenced predominantly by Australian café culture, Four B’s coffee menu has a classic mix of espresso-based drinks including Flat Whites, Cappuccinos and a Sydney favourite, the Piccolo Latte. Paired with 14 types of bagels (changing daily) and five different spreads they have created a concept that is slowly breaking down the “Takeaway Iced Americano” cliché dominating most inner-city menus while playing an important role in the ever changing landscape of Seoul’s speciality café scene. As of 2020 Four B started roasting on a Loring S15 Falcon with a Giesen WP Series for smaller test batches. These include their signature blends Sweet Skunk and Smoker, as well as two to three rotational single origins at any one time: 1) Sweet Skunk (Indonesia 50%, Ethiopia Natural 50%) 2) Smoker (Indonesia 50%, Honduras 25%, El Salvador 25%) 3) Costa Rica Santa Rosa (Catuai variety, Santa Rose De Leon Cortes region, 1900m altitude, double fully washed process). 4) Peru Apas Vahu De-Cafe (Mixed variety, Amazonas region, 1900-2200m altitude, water-process decaffeinated) 5) Papua New Guinea Morita (Arabica 50% + Blue Mountain 50% variety, Eastern Highlands region, 1615-1830m altitude, Washed process) Behind the counter (photos): Mahlkönig Peak, Victoria Arduino Mythos One and Slayer 3-Group Espresso Machine.

I enjoyed having a nice coffee in a glass box cafe besides the wire wall that marks the dmz. I was relieved being in the south of the wall.

Here is my favorite pace in near by Seoul. You can feel real atmosphere between South and North. Nobody believes that here is a borderline area between South and North. Paradoxically, here is the most calm area in Korea. You can feel free, liberty and a great cup of coffee.
