Architecture Scheme
Figure Museum W's general art director Lim Jung Hoon renewaled this building suitable for the museum which was designed by global architecture. Especially, building's atypical exterior is changed for the media-facade and to keep the museum's dignity, we opened up the front portion of the building in a light way.
Exterior
The media facades of Figure Museum W consists of 70,000 LED modules which spread across 3 sides (Total Area: 435.34m2) of the building. The sight is created through cutting edge technology which can be described as a new frontier in media facades and on a minimalistic level, as a massive communication tool to the public.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The collection are amazing. If u love anime and superheros, then this place is a must go place in korea. There are a lot of gundam collection. And limited edition one piece collection. U can use metro to go there. Using metro from seoul station and stop at sadang, then change metro stop at gangnam.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not too hard to miss as you can see quite a few characters outside. Getting in is a bit harder since the door is atypical and you need to touch the button to get in, almost like a space ship. The entry fee was covered by the Discover Seoul pass.
Once inside we went to the top of the building and made our way down the myriad of displays in the building. I quite enjoyed them because they were mostly ones which I recognise and like, including Marvel, DC, Gundam, DBZ and One PIece.
I really enjoyed taking my time just looking at all the different figurines on display, particularly the life sized ones like the Hulk Buster. The vault on the top floor was also quite cool since you can check on the screen in front of you for details of the figurines. The only problem was that it got a bit hard to see the ones near the top and edges.
After the browsing, you can buy some stuff yourself at the shop by the entrance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place was a dream come true! The figure museum is totally worth a visit if you're in Seoul and are a fan of marvel/dc heroes, anime/manga series, or just a fan of collections. I spent about an hour going through the 5 floors of figures and statues they had on display. I am a collector myself, but kids will definitely be the ones to enjoy it the most. There were thousands of super heroes and movie characters displayed throughout the museum. You could even buy some figures in their store, although the figures were prices a littler higher than market value. Highly recommend checking this place out!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a very nice collection of figurines from all sorts of movies, comic books, manga and anime. It's 15,000 per head to go in and they have some toys and other things to sell also. Worth a stop. 5 floors of display.
