2014년에 개관한 에브리데이 몬데이는 컨템포러리 아트에 중점을 두고 국내외 유망한 아티스트들을 소개하는 갤러리입니다. 매 전시마다 에브리데이 몬데이만의 공간적 특성을 활용하며, 페인팅뿐만 아니라 잠재적이고 가치 있는 예술을 다채로운 형식으로 보여주고 있습니다. 더 나아가 깊이 있는 이해로 작가의 예술성에 무한함을 새기고, 관객들에게 동시대의 공감을 이끌어내는 하나의 플랫폼이 되기를 희망합니다.
Founded in 2014, Everyday Mooonday introduces emerging and established Korean and International artists with the focus in contemporary art. Everyday Mooonday uses its spatial characteristics with every exhibition to highlight the value and potential of the artists’paintings and other various forms of artworks. Furthermore, Everday Mooonday hopes to be a platform supporting the infinite potential of each and every artist by portraying more in-depth understanding of the works as well as alluding to contemporary topics to connect with the audiences.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 전시 기간 착각하고 방문해서 전시는 못보고 커피 한잔하면서 카페공간만 둘러봤음. 카페공간은 공간구조나 디스플레이된 상품 등 제외하면 크게 특이점은 없었음. 방문 당시 카페에 있던 알바생이 낯을 가리는 성격인지 퉁명스런 성격인지는 모르겠으나 응대의 태도가 왠지 모르게 불쾌했음. 그것만 제외하면 다음에 전시회 진행시 방문하여 전체적으로 둘러보고 싶음.
 I missed the exhibition period and visited, so I couldn't see the exhibition and looked around the cafe space while having a cup of coffee. The cafe space did not have any special features except for the spatial structure and displayed products. I don't know if the Alba-saeng who was at the cafe at the time of my visit was unfamiliar or blunt, but the attitude of the response was somewhat unpleasant. Except for that, I would like to visit the next exhibition and take a look around.

Very satisfied I went because I liked Jang Kal-nim, but I spent more time looking at other people's works.

Photos from the contemporary art gallery and café “Everyday Moonday” in Seoul’s Songpa-gu suburb, just a hundred metres away from Seokchon Lake.
Their most recent exhibition "Let There Be Light", a mixed media art, sound and vivid neon installation by Seoul and Tokyo based IVAAIU, uses prisms of neon lights to explore the relationship between lighting and the concrete structures of modern cities. IVAAIU itself stands for Idea, Visual, Audio, Architecture, Infrastructure and Urbanism.
The building housing Everyday Moonday (established 2014) was awarded the top prize in the “Micro Housing” category of the Seoul Architecture Awards (2016), the 34th edition of the annual competition.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A modern, chic gallery cafe filled with stylish lights and chairs. The ground floor is covered with carpets, which is quite exceptional for Korean a coffee shop. The desserts are slightly overpriced but coffee tasted amazing.
