★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The underground train system in Seoul is extensive and efficient. Many of the stations, such as Eulljiro-3(Sam)ga feature doors on each platform that only open when the train arrives. A wonderful safety feature. Clean and frequent, the trains of Seoul metro are a pleasure to travel on. I was quite alarmed by the presence of gas masks within the train system but the underground is so extensive and the threat of a gas leak is a very real possibility requiring precaution. Takes some figuring out but once you've got the right ticket traveling is smooth.
