남한강이 흘러갑니다.
서쪽에는 옛단양 단성면 이 있고
동쪽에는 대강면이 보입니다.
두악산 정상에는 스금단지 3개가 묻쳐있고 아기 못낳는 사람은
이곳에서 기도를하면 아기를 낳을수 있다는 전설도 있습니다.
