★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 동주염전은 천일염의 제조방법을 터득하고 직접 채취하는 것을 체험하는 곳이다. 천일염전의 많은 곳이 장판식 천일염 제조 방식인데 반하여, 이곳은 옹기식 제조 방식이라고 한다. 즉 바닥이 장판이 이니라 옹기라서 더 좋다는 것이다. 막상 신발을 벗은 후 염전 물속에 발을 담고 나서 밀대로 바닥을 밀어보니 금방 소금이 쌓인다. 물이 완전 증발하지 않았는데도 소금이 생긴다는 것이 신기하였다. 갯펄이 잘 발달한 우리나라 서해안에서 만든 소금은 미네럴이 풍부한 좋은 소금이라고 한다. 선물로 소포장의 소금을 받았지만, 마트보다 저렴하게 구입할 수 있다는 말에 그만 별도로 돈을 주고 소금을 사고 말았다.
Dongju Salt Farm is a place where you can learn the manufacturing method of sea salt and experience it yourself. Whereas many places in the Sun-il Salt Farm are the Jangpan-style sun-sea salt manufacturing method, this is called the Onggi-style manufacturing method. In other words, it is better because the floor is a floor covering and an onggi. After taking off my shoes, I put my feet in the salt field and pushed the floor with a pusher, and salt quickly accumulates. It was a wonder that salt was formed even though the water did not evaporate completely. Salt made in the west coast of Korea, where the sea shell is well developed, is said to be a good salt rich in minerals. I received the salt from a small package as a gift, but when I said that it was cheaper than a mart, I paid extra money to buy the salt.
