★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 월천(月川) 조목(趙穆, 1524∼1606) 선생이 중종(中宗) 34년(1539)에 건립하여 후진(後進)을 양성하고 수학(修學)하던 곳이다. 현판(懸板)은 퇴계(退溪) 이황(李滉) 선생이 썼다.1982년 12월 1일 경상북도 기념물 제 41호로 지정되었다.
Wolcheon Cho (1524-1606) was built in 3439 (1539) in Zhongzhong, and it was the place where the rearing was trained and mathematics was studied. It was written by Toegye Lee Hwang, who was designated as Gyeongsangbuk-do Monument No. 41 on December 1, 1982.
