★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 도봉산 등산 가는 길에 만나게 되는 절인데 산문에서 법당가는 비탈길 죄우에 많은 조각상이 있는절.
경내에 있는 건물과 조각상들의 배치를 도봉산의 수려함에 어울리게 수정이 필요함.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 도봉산 아래 살면서도 도봉사에는 자주 가보진 않았었다.
내가 주로 이용하는 등산로에서 벗어나 있기도 하기 때문이다.
그래도 도봉사를 생각하면 항상 아위움이 있다.
도봉사에 '도봉사철불'이라는 서울시 지정문화재가 있었다.
대웅전에서 처음 참배 했을 때 까만 철불이 매우 인상적이었다.
그런데 어떤 연유인지 어느날 그 철불이 도봉사를 떠나 경매에 나왔다는 기사가 있었다.
이제 문화재청 문화재 검색에도 '도봉사철불'이라 검색하면 나오지 않고 있다.
종로구에 있는 '철불'이라고 검색되고 있다.
철불이 다시 도봉사로 돌아와 '도봉사철불'로 불리기를 기원해본다.

In Dobongsa Temple, there was a Seoul-designated cultural property called'Dobongsa Iron Buddha'.
When I first visited Daeungjeon, the black iron fire was very impressive.
However, for some reason, one day there was an article saying that the iron fire left Dobongsa Temple and went to an auction.
Now, if you search for'Dobongsa Iron Buddha' in the cultural property search of the Cultural Heritage Administration, it does not appear.
It is being searched for'Iron Buddha' in Jongno-gu.
I pray that the iron Buddha will come back to Dobongsa Temple and be called'Dobongsa Iron Buddha'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 가끔 가는 북한산 도봉산 산행을 마치고 내려오는 길에 새로운 길을 따라 내려가다 보니 부드러운 산책길을 지나 도봉사를 방문하게 되었다.
작은 사찰로 생각하였는데 사찰 내 이곳저곳을 지나다 보니 굉장히 넓고 특색 있는 오래된 사찰이었다.
대웅전을 중심으로 좌우의 균형을 이룬 조형과 대웅전 뒤에서 도봉산 정상을 바라볼 수 있고 다양한 볼거리와 역사를 제공하고 있었으며 여유 있는 마음을 갖게 하였다.
산행 후 도봉사의 역사를 찾아보니
"도 봉사(道峰寺) 관련 항목 보기는 고려 시대인 968년(광종 19)에 혜거 국사(惠居國師)가 창건하였으며, 현종(顯宗) 때 거란의 침입으로 왕이 남쪽으로 피난하면서 도봉사에 들렀던 적이 있다. "
