1935년 원주공립보통학교 판부간이학교로 개교하였다.
1955년 단구국민학교로 개칭하였다.
교훈은 참되게 배우고 알차게 익혀서 스스로 행하자’이고
교목은 살구나무, 교화는 목련이다.
총 학급은 34학급이고 병설유치원이 있다.
부속시설로 발명교실, 과학실 등이 있다.
학생 종합 예술제를 개최하고 독서교육 활성화 기반을 조성하기 위해
단구 꿈나무 인증제를 실시하고 있다.
It is a public elementary school in Dangu-dong, Wonju-si, Gangwon-do.
In 1935, it opened as the Wonju Public Common School Panbu Simple School.
In 1955, it was renamed Dangu National School.
The lesson is, let’s learn truely, master it well, and do it ourselves.’
The apricot tree is the arboreal tree, and the magnolia is the gyohwa.
There are 34 classes in total and there is an attached kindergarten.
In addition, there are invention classes and science labs.
To hold a comprehensive student art festival and to lay the foundation for revitalization of reading education.
Dangu dream tree certification system is being implemented.
