공기좋고 물맑고 이곳은 행복을 주고 맘을 편하게 하는 곳 너무 너무 좋아요

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 신라 문무왕 때(661∼681) '원효대사'가 창건하였고 '원효대사'가 당나라의 승려 1천 명에게 이곳 '천성산'에서 화엄경을 설법할 때 '낙수사'라는 이름으로 창건하였는데 당시 승려들이 이 절 옆에 있는 지금의 폭포에서 몸을 씻고 '원효'의 설법을 들었다 하여 한땐 이름이 '낙수사'라 불리었다고 합니다.
'임진왜란'때 불에 타 수백년 동안 절터로만 남아 있다가 1910년대에 통도사 승려 '법화'가 중창하였고 그후 중건과 중수를 거듭하여 지금에 이릅니다.
절 이름의 '홍룡'은 폭포의 이름에서 유래한다고 하는데 옛날에 '천룡'이 폭포 아래에 살다가 무지개(홍)를 타고 하늘로 올라 갔다는 전설이 내려 온다고 합니다.
햇살과 수량이 좋은날 이곳에 오셔서 떨어지는 폭포수 위로 떠있던 이쁜 무지개를 타고 올라 갔을 '천룡'의 모습을 한번 상상해 보세요.

홍룡사 입구 대석리 무료 주차장 -> 홍룡사(홍룡폭포) -> 전망바위 -> 화엄늪->정상(원효봉) -> 원효암 -> 편백나무숲 -> 입구 무료 주차장.

It was founded by 'Daesa Wonhyo' during the reign of King Munmu of Silla (661~681). It is said that it was once called 'Naksusa' because it was said that they washed themselves in the present waterfall next to the temple and heard the sermon of 'Wonhyo'.
It was burned down during the 'Imjin Waeran' and remained only as a temple site for hundreds of years. In the 1910s, a monk named Beophwa, a monk of Tongdosa, rebuilt it.
The name of the temple 'Hongryong' comes from the name of the waterfall, but there is a legend that in the old days, 'Cheonryong' lived under the waterfall and ascended to the sky on a rainbow (red).
Imagine the 'Cheonryong' who came here on a sunny and good day and climbed up on a pretty rainbow floating over the falling waterfall.

Free parking lot at Daeseok-ri at the entrance of Hongnyongsa Temple -> Hongnyongsa Temple (Hongryong Falls) -> Observation Rock -> Hwaeom Swamp -> Summit (Wonhyobong Peak) -> Wonhyoam Rock -> Cypress Forest -> Free parking lot at the entrance.
