★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 가톨릭대학교 대전성모병원 장례식장이 새롭게 단장을 마치고 본격적인 운영에 들어갔다.
지난 5월부터 8월까지 진행된 리모델링 공사는 장례식장 이용객들이 보다 쾌적하고 깨끗한 환경에서 품격 있는 장례를 치를 수 있도록 하는데 중점을 뒀다.
리모델링된 장례식장은 최근 장례식장이 입식문화로 변화하는 추세에 따라 입식 접객실을 추가했으며, 기존 9개의 빈소를 총 8개로 재배치해 유가족과 조문객들이 보다 넓은 공간에서 안락하게 장례를 치를 수 있도록 했다.
또 각 빈소의 전광판과 로비의 전광판을 대형화해 조문객들이 쉽게 알아볼 수 있도록 했으며, 조명, 가구, 마감재 등을 전면 교체하는 인테리어를 적용, 최상의 장례식장 시설 환경을 구축했다.
특히 유가족들이 성스럽고 경건한 분위기 속에서 고인과 고별의 인사를 나눌 수 있도록 장례미사를 위한 경당과 가족 예절실도 조성했다.

The remodeled funeral home added a standing reception room in line with the recent trend of changing the funeral home to a standing culture, and relocated the existing 9 mortuary to 8 so that the bereaved family and mourners can comfortably hold a funeral in a wider space.
In addition, the electronic signboards of each mortuary and the electronic signboards in the lobby were enlarged so that mourners could easily recognize them, and the interior was completely replaced with lighting, furniture, and finishing materials to create the best funeral facility environment.
In particular, a chapel and family etiquette room were created for the funeral mass so that the bereaved family could exchange farewell greetings with the deceased in a sacred and reverent atmosphere.
