★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 맛집을 찾아 참 많이 다녀왔지만 가끔 뒷통수를 세게 얻어 맞는 느낌으로, '잘난체하면 안돼!' 라는 생각이 들때가 더러 있다. 대부분 그런 경험은 지역에서 오래 산 친구들이 노포를 소개시켜줄때가 그런데, 이번에 방문한 동원식당도 그런곳. 물론 맛이 얼마나 있냐를 논하자면 역시나 그 부분은 개인적인 영역으로 미루겠지만. 여튼 이 곳 동원식당은 대흥동에서만 20년 가까이 장사해 온 흥석형과 수진누나가 데려간 곳이다. 이 곳은 기본적으로 황태국과 황태찜 전문점이다. 대전에는 내가 가본 괜찮은 황태요리집이 두 곳 있는데 연아식당과 서울북어. 이 곳 동원식당은 내가 가본 두곳보다 더 노포느낌이 났고 정말 퍼질러 앉아 술마시기 좋은 그런 곳이었다. 물론 그래서 순식간에 소주 한 병을 비워버렸고. 중간에 대충 부쳐낸듯한 계란말이도 입가심하기 좋은 술안주였다. 대전 대흥동의 술집과 맛집들을 꽤 찾아다녔다고 생각했는데 아직 멀었구나. 고개가 다시 숙여진다.

Anyway, Dongwon Restaurant was taken by Heung Seok-hyung and Sujin's older sister, who had been in business for nearly 20 years in Daeheung-dong alone. This place is basically a restaurant specializing in yellow Thai soup and steamed yellow tea. In Daejeon, there are two decent hwangtae restaurants I've been to, Yuna Restaurant and Seoul North Korean. This place, Dongwon Sikdang, felt more old-fashioned than the two places I've been to, and it was a great place to sit and drink. Of course, so I emptied a bottle of soju in no time. The egg roll, which seemed to be served roughly in the middle, was also a good snack. I thought I was looking for bars and restaurants in Daeheung-dong, Daejeon, but it's still far away. The head is lowered again.
