★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 대구시가 운영하는 공공의료시설이다. 서구에서는 거의 유일한 종합병원이다. 대학병원보다는 선호도가 낮아 이용를은 딸어지지만 최근에는 코로나선별진료소를 24시간 운영하여 인기가 있다. 다만 진료소의 면적이 좁아서 드라이브스루하기에는 조금 혼잡하다. 그래서 도로까지 차량들이 줄지어 있어 통행에 방해를 준다. 병원전체가 코로나진단만 하고 있는 느낌이다.
