Must try place when you are in Busan! Milmyeon is the busan style cold noodle (naengmyeon / 냉면). Their dumplings (mandu) is to die for!

Loved eating here! The cold buckwheat noodles are a Busan local fave: mil myeon and bibim myeon were both good - sweet, savoury, a little sour and quite delicious. There were also these enormous mandu that were pretty good too. It’s a simple place with basic service, but completely acceptable for such affordable and speedy service. It’s a little touristy, as it’s right across from Busan Station. But still good!

The dumplings were amazing. Personally thought the bibim(paste)myun was nicer than the one with the soup. Highly recommend!

Cheap eats that are actually quite tasty. Menu is limited to Naengmyeon with or without broth and dumplings. The noodles are good with a touch of sweetness, few chopped veggies and your content. The dumplings are huge, and overstuffed and are tough to eat but also quite tasty. For $4 a pop on each item it's tough to go wrong here. The noodles don't weigh you down either after stuffing your face.

Total five stars from me because i finished the noodles and dumplings without even thinking and it was cheap! Five bucks But few of my friends just had to watch me eat... If you don’t eat pork, this may not be your option. Although the chef took the pork out of our noodle order, even water they serve is pork broth... their crazy (*you have to try*) dumplings also with pork. + if you have never tried cold noodles and dont know what it is (its served with a huge block of ice in your bowl) i recommend the cold spicy noodle (which is not soupy, hence no ice)

In A Nutshell: -The cold flour powder/sweet potato starch Korean noodles you'll find at Choryang Milmyeon are perfect for a hot, muggy day. -There are many places in Busan that sell this local twist on cold noodles. -The location is fairly easy to find as long as you know what you're looking for. -First, it's located right off the main road of Jungang-daero & it's a road used by many buses. -Second, look for visual cues such as the floor seating & plain menu hanging on the wall. -There were two main versions of the dish which are one in an icey bath broth (mul milmyeon) & the other w/out broth but it has red pepper paste (bibim milmyeon). -Both are very delicious! -Their bone-broth tea is very tasty to drink too. Overall, expect to pay ₩5,000 to ₩5500 for each dish, which is very affordable.

I love nyengmyeon so I really loved getting to try a different take on cold noodles. The texture was good and the Mandu goes well to contrast the cold noodles. Some people find this a little on the sweet side but I was fine with it.
