 I visited Okcheon Spicy Jokbal at Changsin Market, famous for spicy pork feet. I like the kind boss, so I stop by occasionally. I don't eat spicy very well, but today I ordered a very spicy pig's feet~~~ It's so spicy, my stress goes away.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1, 4호선 지하철을 타고 동대문역 3번 출구로 나오면 바로 좌측 골목이다. 이곳 골목시장은 예전 창신동봉제공장 집결터였고, 주변 동대문시장과 평화시장의 지근거리다. 이곳은 주머니가 가벼운 주변 노동자들과 회사원들이 퇴근후 매운 족발을 안주로 쓴 소주를 들이키며 하루의 고단함을 잊던 삶의 현장이었다. 창신동봉제공장단지는 퇴락했지만, 여전히 동대문시장과 평화시장 그리고 주변 현대식 쇼핑몰의 직원들과 상인들의 최애장소이다.
원래부터 이곳은 즉석먹거리로 유명했다. 지금도 상점앞 석쇠에서 매운족발, 매운삼겹살, 매운닭발, 매운닭갈비 등이 자글거리는 소리와 함께 매캐한 연기를 주변에 자욱하게 날린다. 그소리와 냄새와 왁자한 서민의 활기를 느끼고 싶으면 저녁 7시쯤 찾아보라.
가성비 좋은 가격에 맛도 좋고 풍성하다. 매운 것을 못먹는 사람은 덜맵게 해달라고 미리 주문해라. 그래도 별차이가 없기에 무한으로 제공되는 시원한 콩나물국에 의지하거나, 우유 또는 쿨피스를 미리 사가지고 가는 센스를 발휘해도 좋다.
Take the subway line 1 and 4 to Dongdaemun station exit 3 and it is the left alley.
