Nice store!

Went here during my holiday to buy some CD's to bring back home. They were really friendly and more than willing to help when I had trouble finding album I was searching for. Apart from that, they've also got quite the collection to choose from.

First opened in 1979, Buruttrak (Buru's Ddeurak), or also known as Ttrak of Bloo, is a very famous music store in Myeong-Dong district. The store not only sells music albums but also other K-pop goods like posters, notes, stickers, etc. If you are a real fan of K-pop, you'll be excited to visit here. The shopkeepers are not very good at other languages but the service here is really good and you can also know how a Korean music store is like. "Buru's Ddeurak", which was difficult to read, was changed to "Buruttrak". Korean name is still "부루의 뜨락".

They sell fake autographed albums. Not sure if they're doing it intentionally or if they're also getting scammed, but several of the signed albums I saw were fake. I bought a signed copy of Russian Roulette for 150000 won, but on closer inspection it was obviously fake. The original retail komca sticker has been taken off and replaced with a the promotional sticker. You can see the tear on the paper all around the sticker placement. The album is trying to pretend a retail version of the album is a promotional version given out by the record company with swapping out the komca stickers. There is also a barcode on my album. On real promotional albums for Russian Roulette I have seen that there should be a 'not for sale' message instead. Also, the signatures are wrong. I'm not going to go into why in case the store is knowingly forging signatures instead of being fooled themselves so I don't help them out, but there are obvious mistakes on the signatures. I would say that maybe this time the red velvet member just did it differently, buuuut every single album on their wall had the same error which I've never, ever seen on any of the member's actual signed things. How can one store have a variation on a member's signature for all of their albums, but this variation is nowhere else online? The same person who forged the signature on the album I bought also forged every signature of red velvet in the store. I know sometimes the kpop managers sign albums instead of the members, but the wrong signature plus the intentional swapping of the komca stickers is too suspicious. It took me two return trips and an hour of waiting in the store to get my money back. Also, I'm pretty sure their signed bts albums were fakes as well just by looking at the signatures. No idea if they're intentionally selling fakes or if they've also been fooled, but even if they are being scammed as well, it is their responsibility to their customers to filter out the fakes. It's a shame because the store is pretty cool, and the employees I interacted with were pretty nice. It was one of my favorites until this happened. Just don't trust their signed albums.

The owners here are so nice. There are many albums/CD's here old and new, posters, etc. Also Kdrama Ost CD's. Would definitely come again ♡

Good store if your looking for older kpop albums. My friend found alot of albums here that she was looking forever for! They also have more current kpop too!
