★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good little samgytan place five minutes away from the Hanok Village but not touristy at all. They have an English menu now and the friendly owner will help you with suggestions. When we went we were the only tourists there, and the only other clients were a group who seemed to be regulars. After ordering the owner immediately put out some banchan for us, and we didn't wait long for our food. The samgyetang was good, with a nice thick broth, and the ginseng taste was not overpowering. They also provided some ssamjang to go with it, which was very tasty. Finally, we also ordered some bibimbap which was good, especially the thin-sliced squid. All of it was cheap for a tourist area and I would suggest it to anyone coming to the area who wants to get away from the crowds for a little bit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Their ₩8,000 beef bulgogi is probably the best I’ve ever had. The broth is on point! Great service as well. The ₩13,000 samgetang is also very delicious and filling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ love it that its not touristy and the owners are really friendly. thick broth for the ginseng chicken soup - something different from the more popular restaurants in the area. the side dishes were really tasty as well!
the price is quite affordable as well!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Our second meal in Korea and it was just perfect, it made me want to have all my meals here. The host was very friendly and made the experience even better. Thier kimchi was definitely my favorite compared to all the other restaurants I had been to. The food was better then I had expected and very filling.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Staff are really nice, even if you don't speak any Korean. The chicken is well-seasoned too.
One of us had a peanut allergy and after explaining with a note in Korean, the staff fixed a new dish without any peanut garnish. Good service.
