한달 전에 책의 달 행사개최, 무료 도서 및 잡지 나눔 행사- 가을에도 독서의 달 행사를 작년에 개최함.연중 체험 행사가 있으며 다양한 문화 강좌 개설하여 주로 초등생과 성인 강좌가 있으며, 가끔 그림책 작가나 교육관련 강사 초빙하여 강연을 열고 있음, 시내에서 약간 떨어진 옛 남호초등학교 리모델링 건물.
3층에 강의실과 휴게실, 2층에 디지털자료실과 열람실, 사무실, 1층에 종합자료실, 아동 도서실.
넓은 주차장 및 운동장.
