★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is beautiful plain and simple. This is one of the only Shilla Kingdom era royal burial mounds with stately old, craggy trunked trees growing on it. The trees must be nearly 1200 years old. Visit those stoic, silent witnesses to generations of change while you are in Gyeongju. You'll enjoy a few minutes there in between other attractions.
