★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apsan Park is a nice little park with breezy walkways surrounded by local trees that offers a peaceful and cool getaway from much of the hustle and bustle of the city. We only saw the initial walkway and dinosaur park, but there's another path of the park which leads to the top of the mountain and what I can expect is the cable car that takes you up there. The dinosaur park is small, but offers a single dinosaur themed playground with an adjacent sandbox that has brushes and buried stones to simulate archeologists digging for fossils for the kids. There are about 5 animatronic dinosaurs which give slight movements of the jaw opening and closing, the tail wagging and the eyelids even blink. The dinosaur park I would say is aimed more at kids of elementary age. There is also a small creek that runs parallel to the dinosaur park which provides a narrative on some of the rock found there which are believed to have dinosaur footprints. There isn't much for concessions there at all, so an advisory to all patrons would be to bring some snacks. There are a few gazebos and benches for sitting and eating, and a couple spots that are designed specifically for picture taking. All in all, a good morning trip to get the kids out of the house and absorb some culture.
