It is a member of the Order of Jogye, which is the biggest order of Buddhism in Korea. And it is the only ~사 temple in Gwacheon, while other temples in the area are all ~암. But, it isn't the biggest temple in Gwacheon, since 연주암(Yeonju-am) is so famous and become huge temple, unlike other 암자(Amjas). The temple is very close to the city center, but you can't see any buildings in the temple. It feels like the temple is in the middle of a mountain.
