Banobagi Plastic Surgery Clinic

I had consultation and surgery with Dr.Lee at Banobagi clinic. Tbh the service is more than amazing, hospitality is great, after care is fantastic and the results are way more better than I expected. I really love the results all of my friends and families are so in love with the results. I think Dr.Lee is great and did a great job on me. At first I was really scared to go to banobagi as I’ve read some negative reviews about them wanting to take your money or they say you need this and that and you don’t look good or you look bad or ugly but don’t worry we’ll transform you. Believe me all those things are not true, I went there wanting to do 5 plastic surgery procedures but Dr. Lee and the other consultant both strongly refused to do all surgeries for me. Dr.Lee told me I am beautiful and my beauty is natural and I don’t need all that change and he convinced me to go with 2 procedures only not 5. They first ask you what concerns you and then they explain how they can fix the problem within the natural look range and they don’t recommend anything unless you truly need it.

Just had my breast augmentation surgery done by Dr Han! Dr Han and his team has made the whole process seamless and comfortable. Having English speaking staff on site definitely helps to make the process hassle free especially when i don’t understand korean. All the staffs were patience and attentive! appreciate all the nurses who took good care of me!

Got my double eyelid surgery done about four years ago. Less than a year later, one of the eyes came "undone" and I had to return to the clinic for a complimentary re-surgery. The doctors are terribly rude. As busy as they are, they've got some sort of god complex going on, and talk to patients in a dismissive and condescending manner. I don't know if they behave differently to foreign patients, but this is coming from a Korean. The same eye came undone again, and I think I'll go elsewhere for my second re-surgery. I'd have expected better service and skills from such a renowned clinic, but was disappointed. As an aside, I brought a TV crew to film at Banobagi last year, and that encounter was not any more pleasant. Rude staff, rude doctors (except in front of the camera) - despite the amount of on-air time we were giving them. I'm not surprised at the seemingly high staff turnover rate, which I noticed during my visits. I'm also glad I'm not alone - seems like there are other reviews out there commenting on the rude doctors and staff as well. I'd never recommend this clinic to anyone.

I had a counselling for eyelid surgery. I spent over two hours with counselor but I had maximum three minutes with Dr. Lee. I decided to get blepharoplasty. I was about to set the date but I wanted to see pictures of his job first. I requested counselor to show me at least one picture of his work on line or even pamphlet . She wouldn’t show me... Then i asked if any of their stuff members had eyelid surgery .There were lots of staff . She said yes but not here today... I just wanted see his taste. Later, considering how little time I spent time with Dr..... I thought it is too risky to decide now. I already paid a deposit which is fully refundable . I decided to use that deposit for filler. They were fine with that. My purpose was to get to know this clinic and get comfortable with this clinic by receiving less invasive treatment, like fillers first .Then I will proceed to surgery. I’m glad i did not get surgery there. My filler and Botox treatment was ok. But they charged me more than doubled. I already paid but while I was waiting for tax return, I checked price on the menu in the waiting room, all in Korean. I checked filler brand and unit price etc..I demanded explanations. She kept saying it’s local price on the menu and mine was foreigner price . I get it , but more than doubled??? For less than 1hour translation? Then she said local don’t need tax but foreigners need tax... I’ve done fillers , Botox many times before in Seoul. I’ve never experienced this kind of dishonesty.. And during treatment, I was told I’ll get prescription for medication. But they’ve forgotten and was escorted out from back door... I realized no prescription with me in the subway.

All I can say is DON'T believe what you see with the vloggers on YouTube about banobagi. They are just another clinic treating patients like a conveyor belt in the supermarket. I was fooled by watching all these vloggers(probably getting free or discounted surgery by the clinic) talk about how great 'docfinder' was and how 'great' banobagi is. Be warned these medical tourism agencies always get a percentage of your money, they are not FREE! And docfinder were suppose to be there to translate and negioste but the clinic had there own in house translators and my partner was the one negotiating, them being there was a big joke!!!!, like seriously if you're scared that it's your first time getting surgery in a foreign country then don't be because you are better off going directly though the clinic, otherwise the medical tourism agency will take a big chunk of your money. I was naive and desperate to get a quick fix surgery but in the end it costed me more to correct my bad rhinoplasty with Dr Lee(who by the way has no people skills and is on the rude and abrupt side with his body language). My nose is still left bulbous and blunt, with a flat collumellar, under projected tip after 3 years and all these co-ordinators can say is there is only so much they can do. Well now I'm going to get my nose re-done with a rhinoplasty specialist which is what I should have done in the first place. And be warned about a coordinator named Devon. The woman is a snake, my partner was trying to negotiate a surgery price with her and she more or less almost erupted like a volcano. She is nice to your face but then when you turn your back she pulls a face at you like she's disgusted. That place is a whole shambles, rushing patients around like a herd of sheep. The only good thing that came out of my whole experience was the vline surgery with Dr Oh. He was so caring and patient and took his time to explain everything, he did a good job.

I had facial contouring and eyelid surgery done at banobagi two years ago. Dr oh did my facial contouring and he was really calm and talked to me as if he cared about my situation which is why i proceeded the surgery with him and the result wasn't bad. Dr lee on the other hand, i had only less then 5min to ask the questions on the consultation and i didn't even get to ask other questions i had in mind because he literally left in the middle of the conversation and the lady consultant told me sorry he is just really busy and told me what other questions i have and she will answer but i was teenager that time so i didn't really catch the red flag he was giving i just thought he must have been busy because he is that good on the procedure but No now i am thinking he left because he is ignorant and doesn't care about the patients. Since i was interested on going with facial contouring with Dr oh i thought might as well go on with Dr lee since they r under same clinic. After the surgery i stayed in Korea for one month and then went back home in America. After a week from leaving Korea i noticed there was a stitch sticking out of my eyelid and i tried taking it out with my tweeser but it was hard trying to take it off the skin cuz felt like it was stuck from inside the skin and i ignored for while and after 2 days it fell off by itself. Currently there is still stitches in my eyelid that wasn't removed by banobagi correctly and noticeable scar on side of my eye which was not necessary for him to do that but he stitched so far from my eyelid and he also did my eyelid so uneven and my right eye still looks swollen. I am going to do revision surgery to another clinic and i 100% would not recommend Dr lee or their employee who are suppose to remove the stitches!.

Please stay away from this clinic! When I came back for a revision, they made it seem like it was impossible. Kept telling me there aren’t much could be done. So does that mean there doctor aren’t talented or they are being unethical?!? Because I ended up visiting another clinic who was able to fix my concern!

Thuy Hien BUREAU 16:40 (il y a 2 minutes) I have done blepharoplasty at Banobagi clinic with Dr. Lee two months ago and very disappointed. No recommendations before and after surgery. As for the surgeon, I saw him five minutes the day before and 5 minutes on the day of the removing the threads and he's not even the one who takes the threads off. Back home, post complications, cornea ulceration, blepharite, and a thead unretired from the scar I contacted the clinic no answer. Run Away from this clinic which is a cash maker factory and no consideration for the patient!
