★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 주차지옥입니다. 한번 막히면 1시간은 기본인듯 합니다. 별 볼 수 있는 다른 장소를 찾으시는게 좋을듯 합니다. 전망대에 앉을 수 있는 공간도 없으며 풍력발전기에서 나오는 빛으로 인해 별관찰에도 지장을 받습니다. 광원도 예전에 비해 너무 많아져서 제대로 은하수를 관찰하기 힘듭니다.
 Parking hell. Once blocked, 1 hour seems to be the default. It would be better to find another place where you can see the stars. There is no space to sit on the observatory, and the light from the wind turbine interferes with stargazing. There are too many light sources compared to before, making it difficult to properly observe the Milky Way.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 한여름 찌는듯한 폭염과 따가운 햇살이지만 이곳은 시원하다. 진심 에어컨바람처럼 시원하다!! 다만 가는길이 협소하지만 그래도 가봐야한다. 특히 한여름에 가는걸 추천함
It's a scorching heat in midsummer and the scorching sun, but it's cool here. Seriously, it's as cool as air conditioning!! It's a narrow road, but you have to go anyway. I recommend going especially in midsummer.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 별 잘보일것 같았는데 단단히 준비를 하고 오지 않으면 추워서 못봄 바람도 장난 아니고 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 11월에는 엄청 어둡고 바람소리 들려서 음산함 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 그래서 별이 잘보이는 듯. 저녁 6시에도 별이 꽤 뜨더니 한밤중엔 진짜 잘보일것 같았음 다음엔 차박할 생각하고 오면 끝내줄듯
I thought I could see the stars well, but if I didn't prepare well, I wouldn't be able to see because it's cold. The wind is no joke lol. Even at 6pm, the stars were quite bright, so it looked really good in the middle of the night.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1965년 이후 화전민들에 의해 일구어진 해발 1,100m에 위치한 전국 최대규모의 고랭지 배추밭이 있는곳입니다. 코로나 때문인지 멍에 전망대는 출입이 안되고 배추는 거의다 수확이 끝났네요. 좀더 일찍 왔더라면 경치가 더 좋았을것 같은데 아쉽네요. 그래도 시원한 바람과 풍력발전기 돌아가는 모습이 특별한 풍경을 만들어서 인상적이었습니다
It is located at 1,100m above sea level, cultivated by slash-and-burn locals since 1965, and is home to the nation's largest high-altitude cabbage field. Due to the corona virus, the observation deck is not allowed to enter and almost all of the cabbages are harvested. If I had come earlier, the scenery would have been better, but it's a pity. Still, the cool wind and the spinning of the wind turbine made a special scenery and was impressive.

이렇게 찾아갔어요. 길은 생각보다 좁지 않아서 두대가 충분히 교차할 수 있었어요.
사계절을 다 가본것이 아니라 어느 계절이 가장 멋진지 알 수는 없지만 개인적으로는 가장 추운 겨울 눈 많이 내린 맑은날이 가장 예쁠것 같은 느낌을 받았어요. 겨울에 차들은 어떻게 다닐까 궁금할만큼 경사가 급한 동네였어요.
배추를 다 수확한 지금은 내년 농사를 위한 포크레인 소리와 먼지만 날리고 있었어요. 어디에서도 볼 수 없는 풍경인것 만큼은 인정해줘야 할것 같아요.
고원이라 확실히 좀 더 서늘하고 바람도 세차요.
사진으로는 안나오지만 강릉 앞 바다와 경포호가 뚜렸이 보였어요. 전반적으로 편의 시설은 부족하고 친절한 동네도 아니었어요. 주무실것이 아니라 잠시 사진찍고 내려오실거라면 미리 화장실을 쓰시고 안반데기로 가시라고 말씀드리고 싶어요.
현재 멍에전망대는 못 올라가요.

This is how I found it. The road wasn't as narrow as I thought it would be, so it was enough for two cars to cross.
I haven't been to all four seasons, so I don't know which season is the most beautiful, but personally, I felt that the coldest winter, a sunny day with a lot of snow would be the prettiest. It was a town with a steep slope so I wondered how cars would travel in winter.
Now that all the cabbages have been harvested, only the sound of a fork crane and dust are blowing for next year's farming. I think we have to admit that it is a landscape that cannot be seen anywhere else.
It's a highland, so it's definitely cooler and the wind is stronger.
It doesn't come out in the photo, but I could clearly see the sea in front of Gangneung and Lake Gyeongpo. Overall, amenities were lacking and it was not a friendly neighborhood. If you're not going to sleep, but you're going to take pictures for a while, I'd like to tell you to use the bathroom in advance and go to Anbandegi.
Currently, you cannot go up to the Yong-e Observatory.

It was a wonderful view with the stars in front of me, and I could even see the sunrise in the morning. Thanks to the kind pension owner, I slept in a clean room.
