★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1. Racist. Avoid here if you are not a Korean or a white. Been there many times as we living in Oakwood hotel which is right opst of this racist bbq.
2. Check your meat quality when they show you before cooking. Usually the top layer is fine but the lower layer hidden under is not the same at all in many of the times.
3. Go to Chango 43, especially Cheondam branch. No racism, much fancier environment and meat is great from top to bottom.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This was an *excellent* beef barbecue restaurant. They brought thoroughly marinated top-quality ribeye strips and cooked it for us, just right. There are numerous garnishes that you can eat with the meat (the seasoned onions and coarse salt were my favorite). I didn't try the soups but they have those as well as other meats (beef sashimi, beef tartare, etc).
I was surprised to learn that Korean Barbecue restaurants here specialize in either beef or pork or (chicken or lamb), instead of all of them. And they aren't priced equally either. 150g (about 1/3lb) of the marinated ribeye costs about $32. Plan on about that much per person.
This place was really good. Make a reservation if possible, though the wait wasn't bad (they said 30 mins, only took about 15).
