★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If you are craving for chunks of juicy meat softly boiled for hours after hours in an exquisite soup that contains a multifarious collaboration of seasonings, you should definitely visit here.
As a person with a bit of arrogant attitude towards local food, I had long eschewed gamjatang or haejangguk as one religiously says no to alcoholic drinks. However, I've discovered the tasteful charm of gamja-tang (감자탕) and pyeo haejangguk (뼈해장국) through this restaurant; I've truly not lived a life till I tried the local food here for the first time.
The chef, who meets each customer as a friend and a neighbour, has operated a restaurant for fourty years. And the recipe she's developed for gamja-tang contains twelve different sauces (양념), according to her.
And all this comes at... 7000 won! ???
