남,북)과 1,2,3,4망루가 1979년 부터 1998년까지 연차적으로 복원 되어
현재에 이르고 있다. 그리고 4망루 중
가장 규모가 작은 건물이 제2망루 라
고 한다. 남문에서 약 400m 지점에 위치해 있으며 해발 545m 돌출된 암
반위에 세워져 있다. 망루에서 동쪽방
향으로는 장산과 수영 일대와 동해가 보이며고, 서쪽방향엔 상계봉, 남쪽방
향으로 고개를 돌리면 백양산, 그리고 북쪽은 금정산 초고봉 고당봉과 금정
산성이 파노라마처럼 펼쳐져 있다.
그러나 헷갈려 할수있는 것은 각 자료
마다 위치해 있는 동(洞)명이 다르게 기록되어 있음이다. 금정구 금성동,금
정구 장전동, 북구 만덕동 등으로 기
재되어 있어서 하나로 통일된 주소가 필요하리라 본다. 또 무슨 이윤지 모
르겠으나 다른 망루는 안으로 출입할 수 있게 되어 있지만 제2망루는 출입
을 할수 없도록 제한되어 있다.
Geumjeongsan (801.5m above sea level) has 4 gates (east, west,
South and North) and watchtowers 1, 2, 3 and 4 were restored annually from 1979 to 1998.
