★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 서울 한복판에 이런 가게 찾기란 거의 불가능하지 않을까. 여기 메뉴는 딱 2개, 콩나물비빔밥이랑 잔치국수다. 선불로 음식값을 현금으로 계산하면, 비빔밥은 그자리에서 바로 퍼주고 국수는 면 삶는시간 5분 정도 걸린다. 두 메뉴 모두 3000원. 밥 많이 먹겠다하면 엄청 퍼준다. 밥이랑 사리추가는 1000원이다. 계좌이체도 가능하나 카드는 안된다. 점심시간에 양껏 먹기 좋다. 서울로로 넘어오기도 좋아서 접근성도 좋다.

물가상승으로 인해 부득이하게 두 메뉴의 가격이 천원씩 올랐다. 하지만 이제 기름에 볶은 당근이 추가로 더 들어가고, 밥은 쌀밥과 보리밥 두 종류 중에 고르거나 섞어서 먹을 수 있다. 천원이 올라도 각각 4천원으로 여전히 싸고 양껏, 맛있게 먹을 수 있는 집이라 단언할 수 있다.
그리고 SBS 생방송 투데이 2756회(21.2.5.)에 이조식당이 방영되었다.
