★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The five stars are for my favorite Donut joint in Daejeon... Brown Kernel Donuts on the 1st floor of Tanbang-dong HomePlus. These are much better than Krispy Kreme, freshly made and glazed on site! Our favorites are the original, chocolate glaze with sprinkles and strawberry glaze with sprinkles. Not much in the way of nice places to sit and eat your donuts afterwards so we usually head to a nearby Starbucks for a coffee to enjoy with the donuts. There are espresso based coffee drinks offered at Brown Kernel but no drip coffee.
